The Community College of Philadelphia Jr. STEM Academy is now accepting registrations for our Saturday program taking place from September 14 – October 19 from 10 am – 1 pm. This program for middle school students builds skills and knowledge in coding, 3D printing, and electric vehicles while teaching about climate change and manufacturing under the context of voting and civic engagement. Students will learn how these skills and knowledge areas provide solutions to current political issues while teaching students about voting rights and the voting process. The program will culminate on October 19 with a civic engagement celebration and mock election.
The program will take place at the Career and Advanced Technology Center at 4750 Market St. Philadelphia, PA 19139.
