Encore career guru to speak at Gershman Y
Marc Freedman, CEO and founder of Civic Ventures, a think tank on boomers, work and social purpose, will on the topic The Big Shift: What’s Ahead for Your Encore Career in a lecture at the Gershman Y, Broad and Pine Streets in Philadelphia, on Thursday, February 24th.
Freedman offers a recipe for how boomers can transform America’s coming midlife crises into an opportunity for individuals and society. He shows how people in encore careers provide an unexpected windfall of human talent and what must be one to advance this new stage of life and work.
The evening begins with a light dinner at 6:30pm followed by a program at 7pm. The cost is $8 for the program and $18 for the program and dinner.
