TESOL Workshop

The TESOL Workshop is an intensive three-day, fifteen-hour introduction to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages that is offered during the academic year at the Graduate School of Education, University of Pennsylvania. Through small, practical, hands-on sessions led by experienced TESOL professionals, participants will learn essential skills for teaching English in US and international contexts. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate.

* Teaching Sounds and Structures of English
* TESOL Teaching Methods & Approaches
* Principles of Second Language Acquisition
* Teaching the Four Skills
* Materials Development and Technology
* Lesson Planning and Classroom Management
* Language Assessment
* Perspectives on the TESOL Profession
The next workshop will take place on:
* Friday, November 20-6:00-9:00 pm
* Saturday, November 21-10:30am-5:30pm
* Sunday, November 22- 10:30am-4:30pm
Early Registration fee: $300 (Register by November 9, 2015 )
Regular Registration fee: $325 (Register by November 16, 2014 )
