Alliance for Nonprofit Management Invites Nominations for Terry McAdam Book Award
Deadline: July 15, 2002
The Alliance for Nonprofit Management (formerly the Nonprofit Management Association) established the Terry McAdam Book Award in 1989 to commemorate NMA board member and New York Community Trust Vice President Terry McAdam. Each year the Terry McAdam Book Award Committee seeks nominations for the most inspirational and useful new book published that makes a substantial contribution to non-profit management. The winner will receive a commemorative plaque and a $500 stipend underwritten by the New York Community Trust.
To be eligible, books must specifically address issues of nonprofit management, management consultancy, or the advancement of the nonprofit sector. Only first editions of books published in the year before or during the year the award is given will be considered. In addition, the book must be actively marketed to the national nonprofit community or a specific nonprofit community. Nominations for the award may originate from any source, including Alliance members, publishers, authors, and nonprofit managers.
See the Alliance for Nonprofit Management Web site for complete guidelines and nomination forms.
