Register now for the Tenth Biennial Federal Reserve System Community Development Research Conference in Washington, D.C. on March 23–24, 2017.
On March 23-24, the Federal Reserve System will host its tenth biennial Community Development Research Conference. This event, designed to bridge research and practice, will convene researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from across the country to discuss important issues that low-income people and communities face.
The theme for the March 2017 conference is Strong Foundations: The Economic Futures of Kids and Communities. This conference will include plenary and concurrent sessions on housing and community conditions, economy and workforce issues, and early childhood development. Featured speakers include Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen and Harlem Children’s Zone President Geoffrey Canada.
