Temple Teacher Residency accepting applications
Posted by Temple University on October 24, 2016
Temple Teacher Residency (TTR) is now accepting applications for the upcoming 2017-2018 academic year. TTR is an accelerated, one-year masters degree (M.Ed) & initial teacher certification program for those who are interested in teaching science and/or mathematics to grade 4-8 students in Philadelphia. TTR students take graduate coursework while simultaneously working alongside an experienced middle grade science/mathematics mentor teacher to apply what they’ve learned immediately and gain teaching experience in urban classrooms. TTR residents get a living stipend and an education tuition award totaling to $20,000 during their residency year.
