Teen Technology Internship Supervisor
Duties:
Supervise interns of the Teen Technology Network project. Oversee team leaders. Facilitate project-based learning. Teach skills in website development, website content management, website marketing and computer refurbishing. Approve and process intern timesheets. Address intern issues. Attend program meetings as necessary. This position provides great hands-on experience for students interested in computers, youth work, education, community development and nonprofit administration.
Qualifications:
We would like a mature undergraduate or graduate student with a passion for helping the disenfranchised to achieve; skills in creating websites (high priority) and in refurbishing computers (lower priority); good organizational skills; creativity and resourcefulness; enthusiasm; willingness to take initiative; ability to work independently.
