The Teen Program Manager will oversee the continued development, implementation, and evaluation of programs geared towards raising the academic, technology, college-readiness and employment skills of neighborhood youth (grades 9 – 12). We provide After-School and summer programs which include Digital Arts, Journalism, Cross Bridge Scholars, Entrepreneur, College Access and Employment

Preparation/internships. The Teen Program Manager will also be responsible for the implementation and knowledge of technology based classroom learning. The manager should have a vision of excellence for urban youth through educational programs. The Manager will be responsible for program management and supervision of Teen program full-time and part-time staff.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS in Education, M.A. preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•    A minimum of 5-7 years related experience – this must include classroom instruction and instructional leadership
•    Minimum 5 years supervisory experience, teaching (preferably high school)
•    A specialization in working with urban youth
•    Knowledge of the utilization of technology based classroom learning
•    A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
•    Program development, implementation and evaluation
•    Budget management
•    Excellent organization, verbal, written & interpersonal skills
•    Experience in overseeing and/or contributing to college access & readiness programs, and employment preparation & internship instruction preferred
•    Experience in curriculum development preferred
•    An understanding of project based learning preferred
•    Strong computer skills
•    Knowledge and understanding of mental health issues, homelessness, unemployment, underemployment, poverty, and social justice
•    Must be able to pass Child Abuse History Clearance
