Teen Community Leader Workshop
Saturday, July 10, 2004
9:00am-12:00pm
Greater Philadelphia Cares invites all concerned teens to empower themselves and become agents of social change in their communities. The first half of this workshop will be spent learning about resources in your neighborhood, bolstering leadership skills, and how the Greater Philadelphia Cares’ Neighbors in Action volunteer program works. The second half will be spent at a hands-on, anti-blight project in conjunction with Pennsylvania Senator Anthony Williams’ office in West Philadelphia.
