JEVS is Happy to Announce – Recruitment Now Open for New TechServ AmeriCorps Program
Benefiting youth ages 17-24 who would like to gain valuable technical skills…and serve the community. At no cost!
TechServ Scholars AmeriCorps Program, operated by JEVS Human Services in partnership with AmeriCorps, is a unique, year-long opportunity for Philly youth who want to help their community while developing advanced knowledge in Information Technology (IT) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Through “Learn & Serve” experiences, participants will gain hands-on, career skills and, in turn, provide digital literacy training to younger youth and community members through the Phila. Dept. of Parks & Rec’s public computer centers and other community-based programs.
