T4T Internship Program Skill Standards
The T4T Internship program has posted the employer-endorsed skill standards guides for four career clusters: Web Development & Administration, Network Design Administration, Tech Support, and Digital Media Skill Standards. Created by The Reinvestment Fund, these guides are a way to better articulate the skills employers are looking for in the leading entry level IT fields. They were modeled after the work from the National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies. With the participation of 41 employers and more than 100 companies that have endorsed the standards, these guides were disseminated to schools and training programs throughout the region to help align training with employer-defined skills. These can be found on the T4T website at http://www.uwsepa.org/team4tech/Skill_Standards.htm. For hard copies, please email robinb@uwsepa.org
