Apply for New Technical Assistance Project on Children and Youth Plans
Cities are encouraged to apply for a new technical assistance project sponsored by the Youth, Education, and Families (YEF) Institute on the implementation of comprehensive agendas or plans for children and youth. These plans may focus on specific issue areas, or may be community-wide youth master plans. Supported by the MetLife Foundation, the project will offer access to national experts on city-school partnerships, youth development and youth master planning, networking opportunities with municipal leaders from other project cities, and customized assistance from the YEF Institute. Strategies for engaging school officials and other youth will receive particular attention during the project. Four to six cities will be competitively selected by the Institute to participate. Proposals are due by Aug. 10. Contact Leon Andrews at (202) 626-3039 or [email protected] with questions.
