Intro To Encryption – How To Protect Your Information, August 20 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Event run by Girls Computing League.
Whether it is your teacher’s test questions or your parent’s credit card number, this information must be privacy protected. During this TechShop, you will learn how information is protected online.
Throughout the workshop students will work on puzzles, encryption and code breaking. At the end of the lesson students will see if they can figure out encrypted information, i.e. Can they crack the code? Let’s see who can succeed in protecting their information!
Students should bring their own laptop (Chromebooks OK!) and a snack.
