The TESOL workshop organized by the Graduate School of Education, University of Pennsylvania on March 3-5 is currently accepting registration from participants who wish to begin or enrich their career in ESL teaching. The workshop is designed for those who have little training or experience in the field, or received training a long time

The TESOL Workshop is an intensive three-day, fifteen-hour introduction to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages that is offered during the academic year at the Graduate School of Education, University of Pennsylvania. Through small, practical, hands-on sessions led by experienced TESOL professionals, participants will learn
essential skills for teaching English in US and international contexts. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate.

* Teaching Sounds and Structures of English
* TESOL Teaching Methods & Approaches
* Principles of Second Language Acquisition
* Teaching the Four Skills
* Materials Development and Technology
* Lesson Planning and Classroom Management
* Language Assessment
* Perspectives on the TESOL Profession
The next workshop will take place on:
* Friday, March 3, 6:00-9:00 pm
* Saturday, March 4, 10:30am-5:30pm
* Sunday, March 5, 10:30am-4:30pm
Early registration fee: $300 (Register by February 20, 2017 )
Regular registration fee: $325 (Register by February 27, 2017)
