TeenSHARP is looking for teaching assistants to support students’ scholarly and leadership growth
TeenSHARP is on a mission to prepare talented youth of color to attend and to thrive at our nation’s top colleges. TeenSHARP programming includes a Saturday intensive taking place from September to May. The Saturday program includes three components: Intellectual Heritage course (a college course), leadership intensive, and academic excellence session. Teaching assistants are expected to help Intellectual Heritage course instructors with execution of the class in a way that cultivates students’ critical reading, writing, thinking, and speaking skills. They are also responsible for coaching students in their leadership journeys and providing support with academic growth. Teaching assistants will work 9:30am to 4:30pm every Saturday in the fall and in the spring (we are off for the holidays).
