TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES
Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial’s Community Partnerships in the Arts Program and The Southeast Philadelphia Collaborative Arts Team are looking for TEACHING ARTISTS for the summer 2004.
TEACHING ARTISTS in the Visual Arts:
Printmaking, Collage, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Puppetry, Drawing, Painting, Book Arts, Murals, Photography, Fiber Arts
Artists will create a 6-8 week program, develop a skill-building curriculum, write lesson plans and teach in a community center program in Southeast Philadelphia.
We are looking for professional artists with prior teaching experience in community arts education. Experience as an artist-in-residence in schools is also recommended.
Position Hours: Two, 1 ? hour periods per weeks, plus paid orientation, planning, prep, and evaluation meetings.
Salary: $26/hr.
