Work with BuildaBridge!
Open Call for Fall Program Staff
The summer is officially in full swing, the 2009-10 school year will be here before we know it…and so will BuildaBridge’s Discovery program, which delivers arts-integrated education to children coping with homelessness in Philadelphia! Dance, drama, visual art, music, creative writing, culinary arts…you name it, our students are getting a taste of it! Classes are held on a weekly basis in the evening or after school time for the entire academic year, beginning in early October.
We will be looking to fill our teaching teams with two different roles:
* Teaching Artist : Write curriculum and lead a class in your area of arts expertise.
* Classroom Assistant : Build relationships with students and support the teaching artist with behavior management (you don’t have to be an artist to do this!).
If you are interested in pursuing either of these opportunities, please email your resume to Sarah Heady at volunteer@buildabridge.org, or call 215-842-0428 x15. We look forward to including you in this important work!
