Posted by Teachers Institute of Philadelphia on September 24, 2024
The Teachers Institute of Philadelphia (TIP) invites teachers from around the School District of Philadelphia to participate in its spring 2025 Seminar Program. Upon successful completion of the program, participants (called fellows) earn 30 Act 48 credits and a $1,500 stipend.
Fellows will acquire cutting-edge knowledge from university professors and write original curriculum units based on the material they have learned. They will use this knowledge to teach District, state and national curriculum standards, improving results in the classroom. Seminars, described below, meet Wednesdays or Thursdays, 5:00-7:00pm, from January through May on the Penn and Temple campus.
Application deadline: Tuesday, October 15
