Teachers Institute of Philadelphia (TIP) Showcase Event: Fall 2025 USA 250 Workshops – Sep 18

This in-person session is a showcase event featuring the leaders of the USA 250 workshops, which focus on the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The workshop leaders are authors of the Encyclopedia of Greater Philadelphia, which Penn Press will be distributing free of charge to School District of Philadelphia schools.
The session will also feature Teachers Institute of Philadelphia (TIP) teachers and their students presenting work done using TIP units and lesson plans.
Date and Time: Thursday, September 18, 5:00-7:00 PM
Location: Penn Graduate School of Eeducation, 3700 Walnut Street, Room 356-357, Philadelphia, PA
The workshops are led by top university professors and offered free of charge on the Penn Campus. Those who complete the program receive a stipend. Visit the TIP website to apply. The workshops are described in detail here.
