Description: This January, teacher teams from schools across the country will gather in Los Angeles for two days of powerful professional learning around the teacher-powered governance structure and how it allows teachers to make their schools more student-centered at the 2017 Teacher-Powered Schools National Conference!
The conference—which is intended for district and charter schools currently using a teacher-powered model, as well as those interested in learning more about collaborative leadership—will provide attendees with the opportunity to build practical skills and take away tangibles that can immediately be put to practice in their schools. Attendees will hear from plenary speaker Jose Navarro of Social Justice Humanitas Academy, attend breakout sessions, and develop plans for their teacher-powered schools.
