Teacher PD: Introduction to Engineering Workshop
Posted by Widener University on May 23, 2016
Dear Philadelphia School District Teachers, Counselors and Administrators,
As we near the end of our spring semester, the Widener University School of Engineering has started planning for this year’s High School Teachers’ Introduction to Engineering Workshop to be held this July 12-14, 2016. Over 475 teachers have enjoyed this complimentary workshop over the past 13 years. Please inform your colleagues, fellow teachers, guidance counselors and administrators.
It is your support in “getting the word out” that makes it possible to offer the program at no cost to the teachers. As in the past, we can only accept 2 participants from each high school, and this year we are limiting the attendance to a total of 40.

- Excite, prepare, inform students about academic and career paths in engineering.
- Discover new projects, hands-on and virtual, to enhance your students’ skills.
- Become a better STEM resource for your high school or district.
