Teacher, Lea School
Posted by on September 19, 2003
If anyone knows of a teacher, teacher in training who can sub, or person accredited for long term sub, there is an unexpected vacancy at H. C. Lea School (47th and Locust Sts) for someone to take a 6th grade. Regular teacher will be back in 4 months; she is very skilled and has the class in good shape. Good principal, morale is currently high; support from Penn Grad Ed in math; new library and librarian; several new projects starting up, and the fact that the teacher will keep in close touch, give advice etc. make this a quite attractive possibility for someone to teach for a limited time.
All questions should be addressed to the Principal, Lea School, Mr. Mike Silverman. Phone is 215-471-2915…. or you can check in at the
office; main entry is on Locust St. just north of 47th St (one block north of Spruce St.)
Please ask around, as this could make a great difference to a good class; this is a good group of kids.
