Posted by Philadelphia Education Fund on June 18, 2019
The Philadelphia Education Fund, in partnership with Johnson Controls, PJM, and Philadelphia Works, seeks 25 dedicated 6th -12th grade Philadelphia educators to participate in an interactive summer professional development opportunity. Funded by Pennsylvania’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, this program will inform educators about the skills and career opportunities that their students may pursue in the energy technology field.
Up to 25 educators will engage with Johnson Controls and PJM staff across diverse job roles and work sites to explore career skill sets, responsibilities, and qualifications. Educators will also receive dynamic professional development training, as well as be connected to an online community of practice. Applications must be submitted by Friday, June 21.
