Teacher As Hero Awards

On Thursday, March 14, 2013, State Farm will sponsor and host the 2013 Teacher As Hero Awards at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, PA.
Since 2000, State Farm has been a partner with the National Liberty Museum and in 2006 became the titled sponsor of the Teacher As Hero awards which includes funding for teacher training workshops focusing on conflict resolution, diversity, heroism, and civic engagement. Each year, teachers are honored for their exhibition of service, creativity, and perseverance in defusing violence and bullying through understanding and leadership in the classroom.
