Have you ever read an article in the newspaper and had the urge to write a response to the author? Or, are you part of a community group that wants to have your side of the story covered in the mainstream media but can?t seem to get the reporters to pay attention? Then we have a workshop for you!
Come learn tips and tricks to writing successful LTE (letters to the editor) and op-ed (opinion-editorial) pieces from two locally published writers. Our presenters will teach you what makes a great LTE and op-ed and what you can do to be most effective in getting them printed!
Because this is a workshop, please make sure to bring either a timely article you would like to respond to or information about an issue you would like to write an op-ed about.
*Space is limited, so please RSVP by calling the Media Tank office at 215-563-1100
