Are you a K-16 educator interested in incorporating action into your course of study? Wanting to relate civic engagement to global competencies? Interested in the role of youth voice in the process? Curious about related readings that might foster empathy? Join educators steeped in these areas for an immersive experience in preparing students to become active in their communities and world. Daily international lunches, field trips, related readings, and experiential activities included. Institute presenters include Maddy Wegner, Elizabeth Koenig, and Sue Root of the National Youth Leadership Council, Julie Bascom of Edina Schools, and Deborah Jane of the Institute for Global Studies.
