Event launches sustainable community project in eastern North Phila.
Asociacion de Puertorriquenos en Marcha will kick off the Sustainable Communities Initiative for Eastern North Philadelphia on Monday, June 27th beginning at 4:30pm at Front and Palmer, located at 1750 N. Front Street in Philadelphia.
The event will unveil Our Community, Our Ideas, a quality of life plan for Eastern North Philadelphia. The rollout celebrates the culmination of a year-long process involving interviews with over 80 leaders, focus groups, community meetings, and a 200-resident charrette.
At the event, community members, collaborators and stakeholders will speak about their vision for the neighborhood and the goals, priorities and actions proposed in the plan. To register, go here.
