July 8th Sustainable Business Network Meeting and Seminar at the Tyler Arboretum

Presented by the Habitat Diversity Building Block

The Habitat Diversity Building Block is hosting their first SBN informational and interactive meeting. We are working to promote, enhance, and protect ecosystem health. We are sustainable landscapers, restorationists, foresters, watershed preservationists and conservationists, growers, suppliers, organic lawn and landscape care technicians, nature centers and public gardens.

WHAT:

We will have a members’ meeting followed by a presentation and tour. The featured speaker will be Mark Gormel, a local nature photographer and native plant consultant. He will address the questions ? How do the choices you make in your garden effect sustainability and why is biodiversity important in your yard? Following the speaker, tours of the arboretum will be given.

5:30PM ? 7:30PM Habitat Diversity Building Block Program and Tour

Optional Dinner at 8:00 in Media

The Tyler Arboretum is one of the oldest arboretums in our region. It is a six hundred fifty-acre property. Join us on a warm summer evening to tour the grounds and learn more about sustainable landscapes.

Afternoon Tour:
Dale Hendricks, SBN co-chair and owner of North Creek Nurseries invites SBN members and friends to an informal open house and garden tour from 12:30-3pm at the Landenberg Farm and office.
