Community Foundation of New Jersey invites applications from organizations serving survivors of domestic violence and their pets
The Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ) aims to create and scale custom solutions for purpose-driven individuals, families, and businesses.
The foundation invites applications for the Lindemann Legacy Fund, also known as Quinn’s Corner, which aims to ensure that New Jersey residents and their pets can be safe together in their time of need.
Funded and inspired by legacy donor Karen Lindemann, this grant opportunity is for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in New Jersey that work with both survivors of domestic violence and their pets. In the first phase of grantmaking, CFNJ will administer Jumpstart Grants and partner with the New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence (NJCEDV), RedRover, and Greater Good Charities to launch the fund. One-time grants of $5,000 will help organizations increase their capacity and can be used as: emergency funds (some examples are funding for a pet deposit for a new apartment, temporary pet boarding, vet bills or pet food); and planning funds to help an organization prepare for the future goal of housing pets on-site at a shelter.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Community Foundation of New Jersey website.
Deadline: January 31, 2025
