I am Sina Jangjoo, a Ph.D. candidate out of Florida State University. I’m working with Lauren Azevedo (UNC Charlotte) and we are conducting research to better understand job fit and retention in nonprofit organizations. We see high turnover in this important sector as a critical challenge that warrants attention. The goal of our project is to better understand why employees leave their jobs and this sector and offer strategies that can retain important talent and maximize effectiveness.
We are asking for your help by completing a brief survey which includes questions on your experiences and perceptions working in your nonprofit organization. Additionally, We would greatly appreciate it if you could forward our survey to your nonprofit colleagues in other organizations and ask them to share it with their staff. Additionally, please share it with leaders, managers, and staff within your organization. The survey should take only a few minutes of your time and we would greatly appreciate your help.
