Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) and the Nashville Promise Neighborhood (NPN) recently announced its partnership. This one of a kind joint effort is vastly making strides and has been uniquely designed to promote data sharing and school readiness in communities. Laura Hansen at MNPS will present the details about how this partnership formed and ways in which state and local government and schools can adopt a similar approach. Hansen will also discuss the successes and how she foresees the partnership will be sustained and evolve over time.
Join us to learn about effective ways to foster collaboration and strengthen public and private/non-profit partnerships. We hope to generate an interactive discussion among peers representing early childhood and youth programs, schools, federal, state and local government agencies, and private foundations. In addition to MNPS’s presentation, there will be an opportunity for you to share examples of successful cross-systems collaboration showing positive or promising results. We hope this will enhance conversations in the field to promote and encourage program alignment and high-quality data use.
