Workshop supports STEM education in afterschool
The “virtual quarterly meeting” of the Pennsylvania Afterschool and Youth Development Network (PSAYDN) will spotlight the topic, Supporting STEM Education: What Afterschool Programs Can Do, on Wednesday, December 11th from 1-2:30pm.
Featured speakers are Anita Krishnamurthi, Director of STEM Policy for the Afterschool Alliance; Winnie Black, PSAYDN STEM Coordinator; and program staff. Participants will learn about why PSAYDN is engaged to support afterschool programs in determining and measuring STEM outcomes. The webinar includes positive practices and strategies regarding the implementation of quality STEM programs that are educational and fun for students of all ages.
