Supporting Foster Care Youth Housing, A HUD + Higher Ed Engagement Network Coalition Virtual Conversation – Mar 1
Posted by Campus Compact on February 13, 2024
For over ten years, the National undergraduate college completion rate for foster youth has remained at a dismal 3%-4%, according to the National Foster Youth Institute. Meanwhile, financial resources, basic needs, and other support services can be difficult to attain, creating a barrier for foster youth to complete post-secondary education.
Join us for this coalition conversation to hear about Campus Compact’s partnership with HUD and how campuses can support foster youth housing to increase their ability to access higher education. This Coalition Conversation will create opportunities for individuals to learn, share what they are doing, and explore opportunities to get engaged in this critical work.
