Superintendent’s Award In Recognition of Outstanding Service
Posted by School District of Philadelphia on December 5, 2016
The Superintendent’s Award aims to recognize and honor outstanding service in Philadelphia public schools by student teachers and student volunteers. This award will be presented to individuals who have, throughout their time serving in Philadelphia public schools, demonstrated a clear alignment with and investment in the District’s vision to deliver on the right of every child in Philadelphia to an excellent public school education. Dr. William Hite, Jr., Superintendent of the School District of Philadelphia, deeply values a commitment to equity in not only teachers and staff members, but also the volunteers who work in our schools, and this award represents a commitment to honoring those who not only share, but exemplify this commitment.
