SUN Bucks: Pennsylvania’s Summer EBT Program
Posted by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on May 13, 2025
Households may require a little additional assistance putting meals on the table during the summer, when many children may not have access to the free and reduced-price meals they receive during the school year.
A one-time payment of $120 is given to households for each qualified child to purchase food during the summer break through SUN Bucks, Pennsylvania’s Summer EBT program. Benefits can be used to buy groceries at nearby partnering stores.
While some households will need to apply, many children will receive these payments automatically. The benefits will be applied to either a newly issued Summer EBT card or an existing SNAP/TANF EBT card.
