PhillyBOLT (Build Our Lives Together) was founded in January 2022 as a registered 501c(3) organization to empower grassroots leaders to bring the change their communities want to see. We envision a future where every neighborhood is thriving, led by the people living there.

We are looking for someone to lead our Summer Youth Program, “Community Rising,” run in partnership with PAYouthVote. You will have a staff member from PAYouthVote to support you, as well as BOLT’s Executive Director.

# of Youth: 30-35 public high school students

Coaches: 5-6 youth will return from the 2022 program to act as “Coaches,” meaning they will be responsible for mentoring and facilitating breakout sessions for 5-6 youth in the 2023 program

This full-time role begins on May 22, 2023 and ends on August 18, 2023. There is an option to begin part-time in the Spring, and to extend this into a full-time, permanent role, depending on fit. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or a teacher who has the summer off, and has experience with facilitating 13-18 year olds.

The monthly salary is fixed at $4000/month. If you begin earlier with us part-time, you will be paid $23/hour. If you roll into a full-time, permanent role with us, the salary will increase annually based on performance and organizational budget. No specific degree is needed for this role. Every applicant must be legally authorized to be a full-time employee in the U.S.
