Description:
Coordinates and provides support to Project Director and Internship Coordinator to ensure the successful implementation of all Summer Youth Employment Program participants. Assists in maintaining positive working relationships with the teen participants and all partners to optimize performance, customer satisfaction, community relations and program implementation. Participates in coordinating and executing required SYEP trainings. Assists in assuring that all youth are oriented to the SYEP program expectations. Communicates effectively with the participants, employers, WIB staff, Youth Administration staff, operations staff, community partners and the general public. May assist in the analyzing and evaluation of program operations and implement actions to meet designed plans. Provides support in monitoring to all SYEP projects to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Supports staff in all SYEP responsibilities. Supports existing linkages to community resources and may assist in developing new ones to further program goals and enhance the success of job-seeking and employer customers.
Requirements:
Entry level position. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft office is required. Valid PA driver’s license is required. Experience working with Teens helpful. All hiring is contingent upon drug testing and back ground checks.
