Summer PD for teachers offered for free via Smithsonian

Educators from across the US attend training programs at the Smithsonian museums in the Washington, D.C.-area during summer to enhance their skills and classroom resources, writes Cody Coltharp, interactive designer in the Office of the Under Secretary for Education for the Smithsonian Institution. In this blog post, Coltharp writes that the museum system offers many free teacher professional learning programs that offer collaborative experiences, inclusive STEM education, Native American history integration, and education summits.
