Summer Job & Resource Fair – May 9

Posted by PHENND on May 6, 2025

Many of you know that several local AmeriCorps programs were recently cut by DOGE. PHENND is hosting a Summer Jobs and Resources Fair primarily for AmeriCorps members who lost or are losing their jobs because of recent federal funding cuts but the Fair could also be useful for others including college students/recent grads who don’t quite have a summer plan yet. The Fair will be held on Friday, May 9 from 12pm to 3pm at St. Luke & the Epiphany Church at 330 S. 13th Street in downtown Philadelphia.

Most of the jobs are summer positions being offered by the City, Philadelphia, Zoo, Temple University, Urban Technology Project and others. There will also be reps there from public benefits programs, Community Legal Services for help with any landlord tenant issues, Healthy Minds Philly for mental health resources, resume review opportunities and experts to help navigate personal finance and student loan repayment options.

Please contact PHENND at 215-573-2379 or jwright126@phennd.org if you have any questions about attending or if you have summer jobs to offer.
