Summer Internship – Sustainability Commission

We are seeking a summer intern to help with a wide variety of potential projects related to Sustainability at the County of Delaware.
DUTIES – Under general supervision of the Director:
- Support the development of a county-wide sustainability plan
- Identify, track, and report on sustainability performance metrics including energy and water consumption, waste generation and diversion, greenhouse gas emissions, financial costs, etc.
- Analyze energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission data, develop data visualization tools, and assist in the development of a carbon reduction plan
- Manage social media accounts
- Engage with stakeholders at public meetings
- Organize meetings and complete meeting minutes
