Summer Institute on Service-Learning
Posted by on April 9, 2007
We invite you to join us June 18-21, 2007, for a lively, engaging, and informative institute on service-learning!
Registration is now open for the 2007 Summer Institute on Service-Learning at Clemson University. Our institute will focus on “Strategies for Building Resiliency in Youth” through service-learning.
Service-learning has the potential to foster the development of resiliency while, at the same time, providing that necessary link to academic learning that all students need-a reason to learn.
Institute trainers are from the Southern Region of the National Service-Learning Exchange and members of the Youth Action Council of Richland School District Two, South Carolina.
