Summer Institute on Community

The Second Arizona State University Summer Institute on Community is taking place on June 1-2 in Mesa, AZ. The topic for the 2007 Institute is “Community and Education.” The objective of the event is to strengthen partnerships between researchers, educators, students, school administration, local communities and community organizations. By bringing together representatives of these groups the institute will discuss optimal models of collaboration between school and community and create practical solutions for including communities into the educational process.
