June 19th – A Night In Jumanji

June 28th – Sprouts & Spuds: A Gardening Party

Come spend a day in the Tree House Books’ Garden. We’re planting vegetables and getting everything ready for the rest of our summer adventures!

July 3rd – Stars, Stripes, and Sundaes

I scream! You scream! We all scream for ice cream! Tree House Books is hosting an ice cream social on July Fourth Eve. We will be making our own ice cream and then topping them with our favorite goodies!

July 10th – Mindfulness for Families

Through books and discussion, we’ll learn how to incorporate yoga and mindfulness to improve our lives. Then, we’ll have have a guided family yoga session led by our very own yoga expert!

July 19th – Tea Party In Wonderland

Alice is coming to Tree House Books and she’s bringing all of the fixings for a proper tea party. Hot tea, iced tea, finger sandwiches, scones, card games, and more! Alice herself will be teaching kids how to draw on tea cups! Best dressed wins a prize!

July 26th – Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory

Take a trip with Charlie to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory! Enjoy a chocolate fountain, read from the Roald Dahl classic book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and watch part of the movie! Families participating in the Words on Wheels program should keep an eye out for a golden ticket hidden in their books that can be redeemed for a bag of candy at the event!

August 2nd – Camp Tree House

We’re turning Tree House Books into Camp Tree House! Over the campfire outside, we’re roasting marshmallows, making smores, doing crafts, and telling scary stories. Inside, there will be a scary story workshop where storytellers can take their work outside to the campfire!

August 7th – Barnum, Bailey & Books

It’s carnival time! Games like cornhole, cup throw, and ring toss are fun for the whole family together. There will be balloon animals and for the kid in all of us, we’ll have cotton candy and popcorn!
