Camp Registration has been extended! This year you can register for camp online, in person, or by downloading our paper application. Pick whichever method is most convenient.
About Our Camp
Neighborhood Bike Works (NBW) has offered a Summer Cycling Day Camp since 2002. Our popular camp offers youth ages 8-14 the opportunity to recondition and earn a bike, helmet, and lock in just two weeks! Campers complete the Earn-A-Bike curriculum, participate in fun outdoor activities, go on educational field trips, and learn about safe cycling, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles. Campers will explore treasured Philadelphia landmarks as well as the art, science, and history surrounding them! Click here to view a sample schedule from last year.
We travel to and from all field trip by bike. Campers must know how to ride a bike, and be able to ride for 20 minutes without a break. NBW will provide your child with a helmet and bike to ride until they have finished refurbishing their own bike. After completing Summer Camp, your child may participate in the additional programs available to all NBW graduates.
