Suffragettes Conversation at Maxwell Mansion
Posted by on April 30, 2004
The Valley Forge Business and Convention Bureau is promoting a collaborative event called Women Advancing in celebration of the 19th amendment. The kick-off weekend is June 26 and 27.
Maxwell Mansion is holding a tea on June 27 at 1:00 and 2:45 for $20.00 per ticket. Ticket holders will be treated as guests to Maxwell and join suffragettes at a tea and conversation about women’s right to vote. The tea will seem to take place after the Seneca Falls Convention.
Each ticket holder will receive in the mail a calling card and a script assignment to bring to the event.
The publicity flier says:
Step back into the 19th Century as you take tea at Maxwell Mansion and join suffragettes in a conversation about women’s right to vote.
