Success by 6 Professional Development

United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Success by 6® program, in partnership with the Institute for Family Professionals, is pleased to announce the following free professional development courses for childcare practitioners and parent educators working with and on behalf of children from birth to age 8. Courses start soon, and are filling-up fast. Be sure to act fast if you’d like to participate!
· Enhancing Trauma Awareness 6 sessions • Tuesdays 5:30-8:00 PM • Beginning January 18
· Nurture the Leaders 4 sessions • Wednesdays 9:30-Noon • Beginning January 19
· Effective Discipline for Early Childhood Practitioners 4 sessions • Wednesdays 5:30-8:00 PM • Beginning January 19
· Understanding Anger 6 sessions • Tuesdays 5:30-8:00 PM • Beginning January 25
· Enhancing Trauma Awareness 6 sessions • Wednesdays 9:30-Noon • Beginning January 26
· One-on-One Facilitation 10 sessions • Wednesdays 3:00-5:30 PM • Beginning January 26
· Effective Discipline for Early Childhood Practitioners 4 sessions • Mondays 5:30-8:00 PM • Beginning March 28
All workshops are held at Suburban Station, 1617 JFK Blvd, Suite 680 unless otherwise noted.
