Subsidy & Family Support Assistant

Description:

To manage family support services including CCIS, Van service, and ensure general program fees are received in a timely fashion, affordable, and meeting parents needs for our demographic.

Duties:

•         Collect, keep records, and prepare reports for director concerning CCIS, Van Fees, and Other OST Receivables (enrollment fees, co-pays, camp fees, and trip fees).
•         Submit reports and review/troubleshoot problems/discrepancies with director.
•         Interview individuals or family members to compile information via surveys, focus groups, questionnaires, etc.
•         Provide information or refer individuals to public or private agencies or community services for assistance.
•         Consult with supervisor concerning programs for individual families.
•         Identify and advise parents of other programs and initiatives that may prove advantageous to the family.
•         Visit individuals in homes or attend group meetings to provide information on agency services, requirements, or procedures.
•         conduct outreach to each  parent for meetings, fundraisers, updates, etc at least once a week.
•         attend CCIS meeting, attend all village council, staff meetings.
•         enroll parents in CCIS and assist parents with CCIS paperwork.
•         facilitate other parent engagement initiatives.
•         other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•         Bachelors in Human service or related field
•         Flexible schedule and availability to work late on occasion
•         knowledge of ccis services.
•         Proficiency in excel
•         attention to detail
•         experience in case management, working at CCIS,  Financial consulting, or debt consolidation/collections is a plus.
