Student Video Contest

STUDENT VIDEO CONTEST!
WHO: Students in grades 6 -12 who attend a Philadelphia Public School (includes Charters)
WHAT: Create a 30-60 second video answering: “Why is math and/or science is important to you?”
Show us, tell us, excite us.…CREATIVITY IS ENCOURAGED!
WHEN: Videos Submission Deadline is 12 noon on Wednesday, October 26, 2011
WINNERS: One video in each age group (grades 6-8 and 9-12) will win by a two step process:
1) Public Online Vote from noon, Wed, Nov 2 – noon, Wed, Nov 9, 2011
2) Top 3 voted videos sent to our Panel of Judges for a final decision made Nov 15, 2011
PRIZES: $250 classroom funds, $100 in iTunes gift certificates, a visit to the professional recording studio where artist Jill Scott records, and the winning videos will be featured in a media campaign
