Student Success Centers

On behalf of the School District of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Youth Network is pleased to announce the release of the Student Success Centers Request for Proposals (RFP) with a submission deadline of Friday, September 4, 2009.
Proposals for the management of Student Success Centers (SSCs) are being invited from organizations with demonstrable capacity to provide and coordinate services supporting students’ successful high school completion and preparation for viable post-secondary education pursuits. Organizations will be competitively selected to operate Centers among eleven District high school sites including: Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, Fitzsimons, Frankford, Germantown, John Bartram, Overbrook, Simon Gratz, Thomas Edison, University City, and West Philadelphia.
The funds available through this request will support two years of program operation with the option of renewal. A Bidder’s Conference will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at the offices of the Philadelphia Youth Network, 714 Market Street, Suite 304, Philadelphia. Prospective applicants are requested to submit a Letter of Intent to Apply by August 12, 2009. All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the Bidder’s Conference. Proposals are due Friday, September 4, 2009 by 4:30 p.m. Please note that late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. The RFP will be available for retrieval, downloading and review at http://www.pyninc.org.
