Help Raise Awareness for more Child Care Funds for Student Parents in College
Family Care Solutions invites you to attend a Student-Parent Awareness Meeting. Help bring about change to promote student-parent retention, graduation, and early childhood education.
WHO: Pell-eligible student-parents attending a two- or four-year college in the Philadelphia region and are not eligible for state childcare subsidies should plan to attend this meeting.
Voice your concerns, fears, and requests for more help in paying for quality childcare
Learn how you can advocate for additional funding to support non-working low-income student-parents in college
Learn about the new state changes in eligibility guidelines for student-parents applying for childcare subsidies

BACKGROUND:
Family Care Solutions, Inc. (FCS), a nonprofit organization, was established in 1992 to provide innovative childcare resources and services to low-income families in the Philadelphia region. FCS collaborates with public and private organization to advocate for increasing access to quality childcare and the need to provide childcare services to low-income families. FCS awards grants and scholarships to low-income student-parents in college.
